Friday's release radar: Nickelback, Editors, Clinic and Textures lead October 30
A busy last Friday of October spans arena rock, Britpop-era veterans, art-punk and progressive metal.

October goes out with a crowded release day. Here is what is on the calendar for Friday, October 30.
Nickelback return with Everything Under the Sun, while Editors release Surface, Echo & Sound. Both bands have spent the year building toward these records with singles and live dates.
Liverpool's Clinic, long-running favourites of the art-rock underground, put out Wild in the Streets. On the heavier side, Dutch progressive metal band Textures release Genotype, and Atreyu reissue A Death-Grip On Yesterday.
Release listings also put a Queens of the Stone Age title on this week's schedule. Dominic Fike's How To Quit Smoking appears on some October 30 lists but on others for early October, so check your streaming service before you go looking for it.
If you missed last Friday: Michael Kiwanuka's FUDGE, Anderson .Paak and Cordae's joint album Heavy Is the Crown, and Lennon Stella's Sleeping Lion all landed on October 23.
