SoundCloud and Moises link up so artists can send tracks to AI mixing tools and back
The October 21 partnership lets artists import eligible tracks into Moises for stem separation and mastering, then publish them to SoundCloud.
SoundCloud and the AI music-tools company Moises announced a partnership on Oct. 21. Artists can connect their SoundCloud account and bring eligible tracks into Moises through its web or mobile app.
Moises offers stem separation, chord and lyric detection, AI-assisted mixing and mastering, and real-time collaboration. Finished music can return to SoundCloud, where monetization still depends on the artist's eligibility.
As a promotion, Moises Pro subscribers get a two-month trial of SoundCloud Artist Pro, and Artist Pro members get two months of Moises Pro.
The companies cite audience figures of more than 150 million artists, but those are company claims and the coverage does not show what creators earn from the tie-up.
