Skepta's first solo album in seven years, The Fork and Knife, lands Friday

Skepta releases his new album The Fork and Knife on Friday, 6 November, through Big Smoke and Epic Records. It is his first solo studio album since Ignorance Is Bliss in 2019.

The record has 15 tracks, and the tracklist was published in October. Coverage describes a sound that moves between grime, garage, house, jungle and wider electronic music.

Reports also say the album draws on questions of identity, including his experience as the child of Nigerian immigrants in Britain. Pre-orders are open, and vinyl and CD editions have been announced.

Some earlier singles, including Chipple and DANGER DANGER, are reported not to appear on the album.
